Steinunn Knútsdóttir artistic leader, trained as an actor in Denmark, and studied theatre direction in the UK and Russia. Steinunn has worked with various theatre groups as director and performer in Denmark, England and Iceland. Steinunn has mainly focused on progressive, cutting edge theatre, crossing the borders between disiplines, participating in many research projects. Steinunn is the artistic director of The Professional Amateurs and the Net-theatre Room 408/Herbergi408. She is a drama lecturer at the Icelandic Academy of the Arts. Her work has played in Reykjavik, Copenhagen, New York and Vienna.

Aðalbjörg Árnadóttir actress graduated from The Iceland Academy of the Arts. Following her graduation she has acted with various theater groups as well as in the Reykjavík City Theatre. She is a member of 16 lovers Company and is found member of The Professional Amateurs and has participated in all of the company’s performances.

Arndís Hrönn Egilsdóttir actress

Árni Pétur Guðjónsson actor is a found member of The Professional Amateurs and has participated in all of its projects. He has been a leading theatre artist in Iceland for many years acting in numerous films, radiotheatre, television and theatre. In Recent years he has worked with Vesturport theatre, touring with them around the world.

Hannes Óli Ágústsson actor

Hera Eiríksdóttir is 11 years old and is currently studying at Vesturbæjarskóli in Reykjavík. She is an actress in An Eternal Piece on Relativity and  in An Eternal Piece on War and Peace.

Ilmur Stefánsdóttir Schenograph, lives in Reykjavík, works there and internationally.
BA in Visual Arts at the Icelandic Academy of the Arts and MA at Goldsmiths College in London 2000. Ilmur exhibits in galleries and museums, performs, works in theatre and with musicians. She makes sculptures, videos, photographs, stage sets and instruments. Ilmur has worked together with theatre groups, groups of musicians and in cooperative groups of performing and visual artists.

Jórunn Sigurðardóttir actress studied acting in Hannover, Germany and worked as an acrtress in Berlin and Reykjavík for years until she started working for the Icelandic Broadcasting Company where she currently holds an editorial post within culture and literature. Jórunn also participated in Eternal Piece on War and Peace and the current project of 12 Short Pieces on Compulsion, Emotions and Quirks.

Lára Sveinsdóttir actress graduated from the The Iceland Academy of the Arts. She has participated in numerous performances with many respectable company’s in Reykjavik. She is a singer with the band Funerals and has participated in many musicals. Lára has currently an acting post at The National Theatre. Lára is a found member of The Professional Amateurs and has participated in all of the theatres projects.

Magnús Guðmundsson actor graduated from the The Iceland Academy of the Arts. He has worked with different theatres since graduation fx. The Reykjavík City Theatre, Stopp Theatre and Hnykill company. He trained ballroom dancing for years and was a national champion for four years.

Ólöf Ingólfsdóttir actress is a dancer and choreograph, studied visual arts in Reykjavik and dance in Holland. She has her own company, Ólöf Danskompaní which has produced numerous performances. She has choreographed pieces for the Icelandi Dancecompany and worked on many theatre productions as a coregrapher. Ólöf is a found member of The Professional Amateurs and has participated in all of the company´s projects.

Sveinn Ólafur Gunnarsson actor graduated from the The Iceland Academy of the Arts. He has worked on many different projects in film, television, radio and theatre. He his an actor  in An Eternal Piece on Relativity,  An Eternal Piece on War and Peace and 12 Short Pieces on Compulsion, Emotions and Quirks.
